Attraction 2012 Update

The Sweetest Place on Earth just got sweeter with something interesting near the Lightning Racer dueling coasters. Supports have arrived on site for Attraction 2012. They are light blue. They look really nice. I can't wait to find out what the coaster or ride will look like.

Comcast to buy Universal Orlando

Comcast already owns half of Universal Orlando, but now they are trying to buy the other half from Blackstone Group. The sale is between 1 and 1.5 billion dollars. One of the highest in history. The other highest were when Cedar Fair bought Paramount Parks for 1.2 billion. And when Premier bought Six Flags for 1.8 billion. Comcast is one of the biggest television companies in the world. If the deal goes through, Comcast will own the whole resort. Blackstone will only own Sea World Parks and entertainment properties in Florida.

When School Closes, Rides Open

This summer won't be a bummer for flat ride fans. Many new rides are opening such as Windseeker at Knott's Berry Farm. Or you can go to Martin's Fantasy Island and ride the new Devil's Hole and Mind Warp. But anywhere you go, you can find something new.

Sky Screamer Media Day

In the bay area, the sun was out for a long period of time. Well of course it was rainy for Sky Screamer's media day at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Apparently mother nature knew something was going to be breaking her skyline. But that didn't stop everyone from riding it. And it seemed like everyone liked it.

Cheetah Hunt Opens

Well, we all should know that Cheetah Hunt was being built at Busch Gardens Tampa. Well it is finally open. It is a fantastic addition to the parks large arsenal of thrill rides. It may not be as big as the other coasters like Sheikra, Montu, or Kumba. But it packs quite a punch. I highly recommend you ride this ride.
